How to disable password expiration<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

How to disable this feature is easy, follow the instructions below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1:<\/strong> Log in Admin Panel > STORES > Configuration<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 2:<\/strong> Choose ADVANCED > Admin > Security<\/code><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Configuration<\/figure>\n\n\n\n
\"Security<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Step 3:<\/strong> Change the value in 2 lines of Password Lifetime (days)<\/strong> and Password Change<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The default 2 lines will look like this<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Default<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

You leave unchecked and leave the value blank in the Password Lifetime (days)<\/strong> line to disable it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\"Disable<\/figure>\n\n\n\n

In case you put the value in the Password Lifetime (days)<\/strong> line, and the value of the Password Change<\/strong> line below is “Recommended”, it will not force you to change the password.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the value of that line is “Forced”, you must change the password to access the Admin Panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Therefore, if the “Forced” method is uncomfortable for you, change that value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
