The Country Options identify the country where your business is located and the countries from which you accept payment.

Depending on the business purpose of the business, you can limit the countries you serve or set the product to be restricted in some countries, the price of shipping services, … to help you easily manage stores, targeting potential markets for businesses.

Steps To Configure Country Options In Magento 2

Step 1: Log in to Admin Panel.

Step 2: On the Admin Panel sidebar, go to Stores > Settings > Configuration.

Step 3: In the left panel, choose GENERAL > General.

Step 4: Expand the Country Options section.

Step 5: Choose the Default Country where your business is located.

Step 6: In the Allow Countries list, select each country from which you accept orders.

Step 7: In the Zip/Postal Code is Optional for list, select each country where you conduct business that does not require a ZIP or postal code to be included as part of the street address.

Step 8: In the European Union Countries list, select each country in the EU where you conduct business.
